A Spanish footballer David Generelo Miranda plays as a central midfielder for Elche FC. David was born on 11 August 1982 in Badajoz, Extremadura.
In 1994, Generelo entered the academy of the local club Badajoz. He was groomed at the youth department during the following four years. Over the course of that time, the young midfielder studied football in its minutest details and got his first priceless playing experience.
In 1998, David was selected for the reserve team of Badajoz. He spent the 1998/1999 season performing for the B squad. It was at that time, when the footballer came in to the limelight of the coaching staff of Zaragoza. In 1999, Generelo penned a long term contract and joined Zaragoza B team.
In 2002, after he’d spent four years with the reserve team, David was promoted to the club’s main eleven. Altogether, he racked up five goals in 107 matches for the B squad. After his promotion, Generelo started to make occasional appearances both as a member of the starting XI and as a substitute player. In 2006, the midfielder was loaned out by Gimnàstic. He spent the 2006/2007 season making 26 appearances for the temporary team. After the spell had come to an end, the footballer returned to the parent club, where he stayed until 2009. Altogether, Generelo Miranda netted seven goals in 100 fixtures for Zaragoza.
In the summer 2009, a move to Elche FC happened. David’s already appeared more than 70 times for the Spanish club.
