David Gigliotti was born on 30 May 1985 in Martigues, France. He currently performs as a forward for AC Ajaccio.
David’s youth career began in 2001, when he performed for the youth club AS Monaco. In 2003, Gigliotti signed his first professional contract and began performing for the reserve team of his parent club.
In 2004, David joined the first team of AS Monaco. After two seasons at the club, he was loaned to Troyes, where he played in 29 matches, scoring 9 goals in the 2006/07 season. In between 2007 and 2011, Gigliotti played for AS Saint-Étienne, Le Havre AC and Nîmes Olympique.
Since 2011, David played for AC Arles-Avignon, for which the footballer appeared in 4 games, not really delighting the fans by his appearance on the field.
In January 2012, Gigliotti moved to AC Ajaccio, which currently plays in Ligue 1.
From 2004 till 2006, David played 12 times in the French U-21 team and netted 6 goals.
