David Hibbert is a forward was born on 28 January 1986 in Eccleshall, England.
David’s youth career took off in the academy of Port Vale in 1995, when the footballer started to perform for the junior squad of the club. It took him nine years to develop his best qualities and get ready for a professional level. In 2004, Hibbert put pen to paper of his first senior contract with Port Vale and spent his début season on the substitutes’ bench, but managed to net two goals in nine fixtures for ‘The Valiants’.
In the summer 2005, the forward sealed a deal with Preston North End and featured only in ten games for the new team before being sent on loan to Rotherham United, where he made 21 appearances and fired two goals. After the end of his spell, David completed a temporary move to Bradford City and took part in eight fixtures for the club during two months.
In the summer 2007, the footballer put pen to paper of a permanent contract with Shrewsbury Town and found his best form as he amassed 29 goals in 104 matches for the club during three years.
In 2010, Hibbert transferred to Peterborough United and found the net one time in seven games for ‘The Posh’. However, throughout his spell with Peterborough Hibbert was haunted by injuries and retired from professional football at the age of 27.
