David Jarolím is a Czech footballer who currently plays as a central midfielder for the Czech side Mlada Boleslav. David`s father is a Czech coach and a former Czechoslovakia international footballer. His two brothers Marek and Lukáš are professional football players too.
Born in Czechoslovakia, Jarolím joined FC Bayern Munich from SK Slavia Praha in 1997. During his three-year stay at the Allianz Arena he managed to make only a solitary appearance for the club. Before the start of the 2000/01 season Jarolím joined the Bundesliga club FC Nuremberg. He helped his new club seal promotion to the Bundesliga. He quickly became a key member of the first-team squad. His impressive performance sparked interest of many famous clubs.
In 2003 Nuremberg was relegated to the 2. Bundesliga and Jarolím decided to leave the club and to join Hamburger SV. He clocked up over 250 appearances for HSV, notching 14 goals. David often took the captain`s armband.
In the summer 2012 the experienced midfielder moved to Evian on a year deal.
However, after half a year spell with the French club David joined his native club Mlada Boleslav.
David Jarolím has 29 international caps for the Czech Republic.
