A Spanish footballer David Miguélez Miguel performs as a striker for Alcorcón . David was born on 5 May 1981 in Gijón, Asturias.
Being born in Gijón, Miguel’s first choice was obviously the local club Sporting Gijón, where his junior career passed. In 1999, the young striker was selected for the senior team of Ribadesella. After the contract had been penned, the footballer joined the club and his professional career began. In 2002, David was scouted by Mensajero, where he stayed until 2003. The following club, where the footballer continued to improve his game turned to be Vecindario. He made four appearances over the course of the 2003/2004 season.
In the summer 2004, Miguel moved to Linense. The striker made occasional appearances both as a member of the first eleven and as a substitute player. Nevertheless, he didn’t succeed in getting constant place in the starting line-up. That’s why, in 2006, David took the proposal from Lugo and joined the new squad. The 2006/2007 was lined with 6 balls racked up in 33 matches. From 2006 to 2009, the footballer defended the colors of Linense. The spell was lined with 69 appearances made and 18 goals netted.
In 2009, a long-term deal was finalized with Sant Andreu. This period turned to very successful for the player, as he used every opportunity to reveal his potential and very soon became the team’s anchor player. In total, he amassed 19 goals in 73 games.
In 2011, a new contract was signed with Alcorcón. David’s debut season at the club was very fortunate. He appeared 26 times and amassed five goals.
