Davide Astori is a center back for Cagliari. He was born on January 7, 1987 in San Giovanni Bianco, Italy.
Davide’s youth career started at Pontisola youth system, where he played for many years until switching to the youth academy of A.C. Milan in 2001. From 2001 to 2006 Davide studied at Milan academy, preparing for the start of his professional career.
In 2006 Astori signed a contract with Milan. After that he was sent out on loan to Pizzighettone, where he played in the 2006/07 season. During that time the defender made 25 appearances and scored 1 goal.
In 2007 Davide continued his career at Cremonese, where he performed during the 2007/08 season.
In 2008 the Italian defender signed on a permanent basis for his current team Cagliari. At the moment, Davide continues to represent Cagliari in the Italian Serie A, playing in the defense line . Since 2008 Davide Astori made 101 appearances and scored 3 goals for the Rossoblu.
From 2004 to 2005 Davide Astori was capped 4 times for Italy U-18. Since 2011 Astori capped two times for the Italina national team.
