A footballer Davies Nkausu plays as a defender for SuperSport United. He was born on 1 January 1986 in Lusaka, Zambia.
In 2002, Davies entered the academy of Chiparamba Great Eagles, where he played the youth football. In 2003, the young defender was noticed by Manchester United. He and his teammate Dominic Yobe was invited to trial at club. They spent two weeks there. During that time they had an opportunity to meet such stars as Roy Keane, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Phil Neville. Unfortunately, Davies didn’t pass the trial and returned to Chiparamba.
In 2003, Nkausu joined Pretoria University from the South African National First Division. Very soon, the defender became the team’s regular featuring in 29 of 34 club’s fixtures during the 2004/2005 season. Altogether, Davies made 101 appearances and amassed four goals for the team.
In 2008, a move to Supersport United happened. He debuted for the squad on 30 August 2008 in a match with Free State Stars. The footballer got the state of trophy-winning, when the club was twice crowned the champion of the Premier Soccer League.
On international level, Nkausu performed for the Zambia national youth team at U-17, U-20 and U-23 level. In 2008, he earned his first invitation to play for the national full side. He formed the squad that brought the victory at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
