Debatik Curri was born on 28 December 1984 in Pristina, SFR Yugoslavia. His youth career began at home club Prishtina. In 2003, a young player was promoted to KF Prishtina senior team. In 2005, Debatik moved to FC Vorskla Poltava where he performed for five years. Throughout that time he managed to appear in 92 matches scoring 4 goals. On 1 March 2005 Curri made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League against FC Metalurg Zaporizhya. In the 2008/09 season the defender alongside his team became the holder of the Ukrainian Cup.
In 2006, he obtained Albanian citizenship and thus was capped for the Albania national team. On 11 October 2006 he netted his first goal for his national team against the Netherlands at the qualification match for the 2008 UEFA European Football Championship.
From 2010 to 2013 the Albanian defender played for Gençlerbirliği S.K. At that time he completed a move to Hoverla Uzhgorod.
Later on he switched for Sevastopol.
