Declan Rudd is a goalkeeper of Norwich City. He was born on 16 January 1991 in Diss, England.
In 1999 the young footballer came on a trial in the academy of Norwich City so that to get to one of youth teams of the club, which eventually happened after he passed all necessary tests. Declan was included in the U-11 team, from where he started to climb up the youth system ladder. In 2008 Rudd was absolutely ready to start his professional career.
Declan began the 2008/2009 season as a senior player, because he had penned a contract with ‘The Canaries’. He was mainly used as a reserve goalkeeper, but the keepers’ coach and the head coach attentively observed his progress. From 2008 Rudd has made ten appearances for Norwich City. In 2013 Rudd was loaned to Preston North End.
From 2006 the keeper has been capped for the England national youth teams.
