Ayodele Adeleye is a professional Nigerian football defender currently playing for a Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala. He was born on December 25, 1988 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Ayodele Adeleye’s professional career started in 2005 at Shooting Stars FC (Nigeria). The young footballer showed his best in the first 2005/2006 season and secured a position in the first team.
In 2007 the defender made an important step forward when he joined Sparta Rotterdam (the Netherlands). Over 3 years he played for the side, Ayodele Adeleye was often listed as a first-choice player thanks to his prominent and reliable defending skills. In total, he took part in 74 matches and scored 3 goals for the Dutch team.
In 2010 Ayodele Adeleye was bought by Metalurh Donetsk FC, where he remained one of the key players. In 2011 the defender moved to Tavriya Simferopol SC and later on to Kuban Krasnodar, Russia. However, Adeleye did not play a single match for the side and moved to Anzhi Makhachkala.
From 2005 till 2008 Ayodele Adeleye played for the Nigeria National U21 and U23 Football Teams. In 2009 he made his debut for the senior squad of the national team.
