Bruno Ferreira Bonfim, better known as Dentinho, is a striker for Shakhtar Donetsk currently playing on loan at Besiktas. He was born on 19 January 1989 in São Paulo, Brazil.
Dentinho is a product of Corinthians football academy. He debuted for Corinthians in 2007 in a match against Palmeiras. In that same year the striker scored his first goal for the club in a match against Fluminense. In 2008 Bruno was the pillar of Corinthians and helped them to earn promotion to the Brazilian Série A.
After a successful performance in Brazil, Dentinho became interesting to a number of top European clubs, such as: Arsenal, Barcelona, Real, Valencia, Inter, Lyon, Zenit and CSKA. However, Bonfim decided to stay at Corinthians and extended his contract with the club until 2013.On 10 March 2010 the striker scored his first goal in Copa Libertadores in a match against Independiente Medellín.
On 18 May 2011 Corinthians announced that they plan to sell Dentinho to Shakhtar Donetsk. The transfer fee amounted to 7.5 million euros. On 20 May 2011 the official website of Shakhtar confirmed the acquisition of Dentinho. Bruno signed a five-year contract with the Donetsk club and chose the squad number 31. The Brazilian joined the club in the summer of that same year, but before that he played a few more matches for his alma mater Corinthians.
On 10 July 2011 Dentinho made his debut for The Miners in the Ukrainian Premier League in a match against Obolon Kyiv. The forward came on as a 57th minute substitute for Alex Teixeira, and six minutes later scored a goal. As a result, The Miners won 4-0. In that season Dentinho made another 17 appearances and netted 3 goals for the new club. Along with Shakhtar, the Brazilian became the champion and the holder of the Ukrainian Cup 2012.
In 2009 Dentinho played for Brazil U-20, making a total of 14 appearances and 11 goals.
