Dídac Vilà Morelló is a Spaniard playing for Real Betis as a left defender.
Dídac got engaged in football as he was only 10 years of age. The first club of the player for which he signed on professional terms was RCD Espanyol where he moved from his local club Mataró. Since 2008 till 2009 he played for Espanyol B right till he made his first La Liga appearance for the main team in January 2010 against Athletic Bilbao in a 1-0 home victory. Since then and till the end of the season the footballer made 11 appearances.
During the January transfer window of 2011 the footballer moved to AC Milan regardless of the fact that the player was a transfer aim for Werder Bremen. Dídac played for the ‘Rossoneri’ only one game (against Udinese) during half of the season; no surprise he was transferred back to his hometown club RCD Espanyol on a season-long loan in June 2011. Upon his return to Milan there was a possibility of his transfer to Valencia but he never passed the medical checkout. The loan spell with Real Betis followed.
Dídac Vilà was capped for the national side for the U-19 Youth World Cup in 2009 in which his side suffered a 1-3 defeat against Italy in the 1/8 final stage having previously overcome Tahiti, Venezuela and Nigeria during the group stage. Vilà only played against Venezuela in that tournament. However Dídac managed to triumph with the U-21 side having obtained the World Cup trophy along with his national team.
