A Brazilian footballer Diego Rigonato Rodrigues was born on 9 March 1988 in Americana. He plays as a midfielder for the French side Reims. His jersey number is eleven.
Diego started out playing football at a famous Brazilian club São Paulo when he was 14 years old. He began his senior career at Inter Club Korea and Itararé where he played between 2004 and 2006. But his professional career really took off in 2006 when the 18-year-old player moved to Hungary to join Budapest Honvéd.
On 27 November 2006, Rodrigues made his first appearance against Vasas in a game that ended in a 0-1 loss for Budapest. The head coach let him on the field 11 times during the season. In the 2008/09 season Diego performed for the team at the Hungarian Cup (Magyar Kupa) and together with the club became its holder. Diego finished as a runner-up in the Super Cup. All in all, he amassed 12 goals in 76 games for the club. On 25 June 2010, a three-year contract was penned with Tours FC. In August 2012, the Brazilian footballer moved to Reims.
