Dillon Sheppard is a midfielder of Golden Arrows. He was born on 27 February 1979 in Durban, South Africa.
In 1997, Dillon started his senior performance in Seven Stars and netted one goal in 24 fixtures for the club during two years. In 1999, the footballer transferred to Ajax Cape Town and amassed 15 goals in 105 matches before completing a move to Russian side Dynamo Moscow in 2004. However, Sheppard failed to clinch a regular place in the new team and sealed a deal with Greek Side Panionios in 2005. The midfielder took part in ten games for ‘Istorikos’ and joined Mamelodi Sundowns, where he found the net one time in 37 games during three years.
In 2009, Platinum Stars secured Dillon’s services and saw him score three goals in 39 fixtures during two years. In 2011, the footballer put pen to paper of a contract with Golden Arrows and went on to net four times in 32 games for the new club as of December 2012.
From 2000 till 2007, Sheppard was capped 18 times for the South Africa national squad.
