Diogo Ferreira Salomão was born in 1988 in Amadora, Portugal. Sporting CP footballer, he plays as a right winger.
During his youth playing career Salomão played for Estrela Amadora, there he played two inconsequent seasons, Damaiense and Casa Pia. With the latest one he started his professional playing career and within his tenure there he helped them to reach the fourth division from the regional leagues.
The 2009/10 season Salomão spent with Real Sport Clube and in 2011 he signed a four-year contract with Sporting Clube de Portugal.
He made the top division debut in September 2010, playing half a 1-1 draw against C.D. Nacional. During his first season with the club he appeared in 23 official matches and scored four goals.
In 2011, Diogo Salomão was loaned to Deportivo de La Coruña for one season and went on there for the 2012/13 season. He appeared in 43 matches and scored 6 goals, helping Depotivo to return to La Liga after one-year absence.
