Dmitri Kudryashov is a Russian midfielder born on 13 May 1983.
He made his first professional appearance with FC Dynamo Izhevsk in one of the Russian Cup matches when he was just 14 years old. The youngster’s talent didn’t come unnoticed and he soon joined FC Saint-Étienne. There he scored 4 goals in 9 games for the reserve squad during his two year-stint at the club. Then he came to a preliminary agreement with the English heavyweights FC Arsenal London, but the move collapsed and Dmitri joined FC Spartak Moscow in 2002. During the 2002 season the player scored his first Russian Premier League goal and even featured in a UEFA Champions League fixture.
However, his further career was not so successful, as he became just a shadow of the prodigious player he’d used to be. In 2003 he was transferred to FC Krylia Sovetov, where he failed to show his best form and was soon loaned to FC Anji Makhachkala. In 2006 Dmitri clinched a deal with Latvian side FC Ditton, but returned to Russia the next season. After short spells at FC Shinnik Yaroslavl, FC Luch-Energiy and FC Saturn Ramenskoye, the player finally moved to FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod in 2011. There he rediscovered his talent, became the first-team captain and undisputed leader of the team.
