Dmytro Kozachenko is a professional Ukrainian footballer currently playing as a goalkeeper for Zorya Luhansk FC. He was born on January 11, 1982 in Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union.
Dmytro Kozachenko’s junior career ran at the sports school of Zmina-Obolon Kyiv FC.
The senior career of the young footballer started in 1999 at Obolon Kyiv FC. At first he performed for the reserve team, but in October 1999 made his debut for the first team.
In 2001 Dmytro Kozachenko played for Vorskla Poltava FC and Nafkom Brovary FC. In 2002 he was invited to Siena AC (Italy) but could not compete with other more experienced teammates and returned to Nafkom Brovary FC in 2003.
In the winter of 2005 Dmytro Kozachenko joined Zorya Luhansk FC, became a first goalkeeper there and won the Ukrainian First League (Persha Liha) in the season of 2005/2006.
In 2007 the footballer moved to Tavriya Simferopol SC for a short period of time and in 2008 moved to Kazakhstan to play for Atyrau FC. In 2009 the goalkeeper returned to the Ukraine and signed for Oleksandria PFC, which was followed by Sumy FC. In 2011 Dmytro Kozachenko signed up with Nasaf Qarshi FC (Uzbekistan).
In 2012 the goalkeeper joined Zorya Luhansk FC.
