Dmytro Lyopa is a midfielder of FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih. He was born on 23 November 1988 in Kremenchuk, Ukraine.
Lyopa’s career started at the youth academies of MFC Kremin Kremenchuk and FC Dnipro, where he learned the basics of football. When it came time to take a decision on the player’s future prospects, without too much trouble Dmytro was offered to pen a professional contract with Dnipro. Since 2007 he was from time to time included in the main team, helping the club take the prize places in the Ukrainian Championship, but, nevertheless, failed to become a key figure on the pitch.
In 2010 the club’s management sent Lyopa on a season-long loan to FC Kryvbas, where he amassed 3 goals in 12 games. In 2012 Kryvbas expressed a desire to sign Dmytro on another season-long loan.
Lyopa’s international debut came in 2003 with the Ukraine U-17 team. Later, the player was capped 15 times for the U-19 team. From 2007 to 2008 Dmytro was given 11 calls to the U-21 squad, netting 2 goals.
