Du Wenhui is a Chinese striker who currently defends the colours of Jiangsu Sainty. He was born on December 19, 1983 in Xuanwu, China.
Du Wenhui began his academy scholarship with Beijing Guoan in 1998. The player’s hard work and ability paid dividends in 1999 when he entered the youth system of Eintracht Frankfurt. But he failed to step up into the main team and left the club. In 2000 the Chinese attacker sealed professional terms with his homeland club Beijing Guoan. Soon Du Wenhui was handed a league debut. Due to stiff competition in the club, the coach often left him on the bench. However, during his ten-and-a-half stay with Beijing Guoan, Du Wenhui totted up 102 top flight appearances and fired 15 goals. In 2009 he aided his team land the Chinese Super League title.
In 2011 Jiangsu Sainty secured the capture of the player. The cultured striker quickly found his feet in the club’s first team.
In 2007 Du Wenhui won a cap for China. He made his international bow in the friendly tie against Kazakhstan on February 7.
