Dušan Tadić is a midfielder, born on 20 November 1988 in Bačka Topola, Serbia.
Dušan went in for football when a child and started his performance in AIK Bačka Topola, where he gained necessary knowledge and experience for moving to the next qualitative level. In 2002 the player completed a move to the academy of Vojvodina. Four fruitful years in various youth teams earned Tadić a place in the main team.
In 2006 Dušan penned his first four-year contract with Serbian SuperLiga side Vojvodina.
The footballer’s Euro Cups début came in the 2009/2010 season in the qualifier against Austria Wien, where he netted his first goal.
Tadić transferred to F.C. Groningen in 2010 and sealed a deal worth $1.55 million. In the 2010/2011 season the midfielder took third place for the number of assists in Europe. He made 65 appearances and amassed 12 goals for the club during two years. From 2012 to 2014 he played for Twente and fired 32 goals in 85 games.
In the summer 2014 Tadic was offered a contract with Southampton.
From 2007 till 2010, Dušan was capped 23 times for the Serbia national U-23 squad. From 2008, the footballer has taken part in ten games and contributed one goal for the full national team.
