Éder Lopes is a forward of Braga. He was born on 22 December 1987 in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau.
In 2006 Lopes began his senior career in Oliveira Hospital. The forward played for his first professional club during one season making many appearances and showing impressive goal-scoring ability.
Éder’s performance drew the attention of different football clubs and the Portuguese side Tourizense showed the greatest interest. In the summer 2007 the footballer moved to the outfit signing a long-term deal. One season was enough for him to catch the eye of top-flight Portuguese clubs as Éder kicked 11 goals in 41 matches for one season.
In the summer 2008 Lopes joined Académica where the forward scored 12 goals in 83 games during a four-year spell.
In 2012 Éder penned a contract with Braga. Since that year hi is also capped to the Portugal national team.
