Edgaras Česnauskis was born on 5 February 1984 in Kuršėnai, Lithuanian SSR. Edgaras plays as a left winger for FC Rostov.
Česnauskis trained at sport school Kuršėnai in his youth. At the age of 16, he made his debut playing for FK Ekranas, and at the age of 19 for the Lithuania national football team. In the 2003/2004 and 2005/2006 seasons the footballer performed for FC Dynamo Kyiv. From 2006 to 2008, Edgaras played for FC Saturn, and from 2008 to 2009, for FC Moscow.
In 2010, Edgaras Česnauskis moved to FC Dynamo Moscow and from 2011 he plays for FC Rostov.
