Elad Gabai is an Israeli footballer who plays for Hapoel Ironi. He was born on 15 November 1985 in Rishon LeZion, Israel. Elad is a defender, but he can also play in the midfield.
Elad started out at Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv football school. In 2003 the defender penned a deal with the club. During his 2003-2004 stay at Bnei Yehuda he didn’t get a chance to play for the first team. From 2004 to 2006 Gabai spent two consecutive loan spells at Hapoel Marmorek.
In 2006 he was transferred to Hapoel Bnei Lod, where he registered 119 appearances and netted a goal during his 2006/2010 stay at the side. It was difficult for Gabai to get a place in the first-team at first, but Elad gradually earned the coach’s confidence and became a regular starter at Hapoel Bnei Lod.
In 2010 Gabai signed for Hapoel Ironi. From 2010 to 2012 he made 64 outings and scored a goal for the club.
In 2012 Elad Gabai was selected for the Israel national squad and took part in 4 international games.
