Elliott Ward is a defender of Bournemouth. He was born on 19 January 1985 in a London suburb, England.
In 2003 Elliot’s professional career took off, when he penned a contract with West Ham United on permanent basis after being a trainee of the club’s academy. After half a year of his performance for ‘The Hammers’, the defender was sent on a six-month loan to Peterborough United, where he did not make any appearances. In the summer the same year, Ward continued his career in Bristol Rovers, where he performed on loan as well and featured in three games during one season.
In the 2005/2006 season Plymouth Argyle welcomed the footballer into its team on temporary basis. Elliot made 16 appearances and found the net one time during one year, which was a good result in comparison with what he had before.
In 2006 Ward penned a contract on continuing basis with Coventry City, where he performed during three years and a half. After the footballer took part in 116 games and amassed 14 goals during that spell, he first completed a move to Doncaster Rovers on loan and then transferred to Preston North End on loan as well. In the summer the same year, Elliot penned a permanent contract with Norwich City. In 2013 he served loan spell at Nottingham Forest.
Upon his return from a loan spell Norwich decided against extending his contract and Ward joined a Championship side Bournemouth as a free agent.
