Emiliano Alfaro is a striker for Al Wasl in the UAE Pro-League. He was born on 28 April 1988 in Treinta y Tres, Uruguay.
Alfaro’s professional career started in 2006 after he signed his first professional contract with Liverpool de Montevideo. During 4 years Emiliano was a regular fixture in the starting lineup. The head coach trusted Alfaro and allowed him to start 107 matches that resulted in 41 goals.
In 2010 Emiliano was loaned to San Lorenzo for the 2010/11 season where he scored 2 goals in 18 appearances. Despite good performance Emiliano couldn’t secure a permanent spot in Liverpool de Montevideo starting lineup.
In 2012 Alfaro eagerly joined S.S. Lazio on a long-term contract after short talks between the clubs. Shortly sfter he switched to his current club Al Wasl in the UAE Pro-League.
From 2006 to 2007 Emiliano played 2 matches for Uruguay U-20. In 2011 Alfaro featured in 1 game of the Uruguay national team.
