Emin Mahmudov plays as a midfielder for Krylia Sovetov. He was born on 27 April 1992 in Saatly, Azerbaijan.
He commenced his career as a footballer when he joined the youth team of Saturn in 2007. In 2009 he stepped up to the first team. During his 2009-2010 spell at the club he made 21 appearances and netted a goal.
On 15 January 2011, Emin moved to Spartak Moscow. During the 2011/12 season his team finished second in the Russian Premier League. He took part in 12 games for Spartak before February 25, 2012 when he was loaned to Tom. Upon his arrival the youngster was sent for another loan spell with Krylia Sovetov and later signed a permanent deal with the club.
Emin was occasionally called up to the Russian U18, U19, U20 and U21 teams. He won the 2012 Commonwealth of Independent States Cup being a part of the Russian U21 squad.
