Emmanuel Eboué was born in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire on June 4, 1983. At the moment he is a defender at a Turkish club Galatasaray and at the Côte d'Ivoire National Football Team.
Emmanuel Eboué trained at the Jean-Marc Guillou Football Academy (Académie de Sol Beni) and on its completion started playing for his local club Mimosas ASEC. Having stayed at the club for two seasons, the footballer joined the Belgian club Beveren KSK and spent the following three seasons there.
Emmanuel Eboué’s football skills impressed the bosses of Arsenal FC and soon the defender signed a 4-year contract with the club. Over the season of 2005/2006 he managed to make to Arsenal’s first string. The following season was very successful for Emmanuel as well, and in the autumn of 2006 he was announced the Player of the Month in Arsenal. In May 2007 the footballer extended his contract with the club.
On August 16, 2011 Emmanuel Eboué signed for a Turkish club Galatasaray for 4 years.
Emmanuel Eboué is the finalist of the 2003/2004 Belgian Cup, the finalist of the 2005/2006 UEFA Champions League, bronze medalist of the English Premier League, the champion of Turkey and the finalist of the African Cup of Nations.
