Emmanuel Ledesma is a midfielder of Middlesbrough. He was born on 24 May 1988 in Quilmes, Argentina.
In 2008, Emmanuel penned his first professional contract with Genoa after two years in the academy of the club. Despite the footballer spent two years in the youth system, he failed to clinch a place in the starting line-up and was sent on loan to Queens Park Rangers. Ledesma took part in 17 fixtures and netted one goal for the team during his spell and sealed a temporary deal first with Salernitana, then with Novara.
In the summer 2010, the midfielder put pen to paper of a contract with Crotone and featured in ten games for the club during six months. In January 2011, Emmanuel transferred to Walsall, which saw him score one goal in ten appearances during half a year as well. In 2011, the footballer played for Defensa y Justicia, but decided to return to Walsall in March the same year.
In the summer 2012, Ledesma’s services were secured by Middlesbrough.
