Emmanuel Mayuka

Emmanuel Mayuka is a Zambian striker of English side Southampton. He was born on 21 November 1990 in Kabwe, Zambia.

Emmanuel’s career took off in the academy of Lusaka, when he was 11. In 2006 the footballer moved to Zambian side Kabwe Warriors.

In the summer 2008, the striker joined Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he first performed for the youth team and later advanced to the main squad. Mayuka made 42 appearances and netted ten goals for the club.

On 28 May 2010, Emmanuel penned a five-year contract with Swiss side Young Boys. In 2012 the footballer moved to English side Southampton.

In the season 2013/2014 Mayuka played on loan at Sochaux.

In September 2007, Mayuka was invited to the Zambia national team.
