Enda Stevens is a back of Aston Villa. He was born on 9 July 1990 in Dublin, Ireland.
In 2008 Enda’s professional career took off after he penned a contract with UCD. One half of the season was enough for the footballer to be tired with playing for the team. The young back was sold to Irish side St Patrick’s Athletic, where his career went forward at a steady gait.
Stevens made 30 appearances for the new club, mostly coming on the pitch in the starting line-up. The footballer had excellent physical data and his level of development let Enda clinch the place of a regular. The same year the back left St Patrick’s Athletic.
In 2009 Shamrock Rovers lodged a tempting bid for the young footballer, who sealed a long-term deal with the new club and played for it till January 2012. During his entire spell, Stevens was used mainly as a sub, but managed to feature in 45 games for the club, which was a good result for him.
Enda continued his career in English side Aston Villa, because it was one of the back’s priorities to sign for it. The footballer was destined to play on the left flank of the defense for ‘Villans’.
However, in 2013 he was loaned to Notts County.
In 2011 Stevens was capped three times for the Republic of Ireland national U-21 team.
