Eric Mouloungui was born on 1 April 1984 in Port-Gentil, Gabon. He currently plays for the UAE side Al-Wahda.
Eric embarked on his professional career at his homeland side Mangasport Moanda. In 2003, he left for France and joined RC Strasbourg which then competed in Ligue 1. In the 2006/07 season, Mouloungui helped his team to fight back their place in the top flight after one season in the French second division. He even became the club’s top scorer with 11 goals in 30 matches. Overall, Mouloungui scored 17 goals in 101 appearances for Strasbourg during a four-year spell. In 2008, he moved to OGC Nice where played for another five years amassing 18 goals in 106 matches. In 2012, Mouloungui signed for Al-Wahda in the UAE Pro-League.
Eric Mouloungui is capped to the Gabon national team since 2005.
