Fabien Audard is a French-born footballer who plays for Lorient as a goalkeeper. He was born on 28 March 1978 in Toulouse.
He started to try his hand at professional football at Toulouse, his local club. On October 3 1998, his debut took place in the match against Olympique.
He didn’t appear on the pitch until November 4, 2000, when he featured in the game against Strasbourg. Before moving to a new club, Fabien managed to make 4 more appearances in that season. In August 2001, he was welcomed in Bastia.
Audard joined the club, but was sent on loan to Lorient after staying away from the pitch during his first season with Bastia. He was let on the field 30 times for the new squad. A contract was extended during goalkeeper’s performance. In 2004, his services were secured on loan by Monaco. That season he managed to feature in 4 matches as Flavio Roma’s cover.
After coming back to Lorient, Fabien didn’t miss a single match, except the promoting campaign in 2005/2006. He continues to come on the pitch for the club in Ligue 1.
