Fabien Camus is a Tunisian midfielder of Racing Genk.
Fabien was born on February 28, 1985 in Arles, France. He joined the Montpellier academy in the year of 2000 after breaking through at hometown club Arles-Avignon. Two years later he caught the eye of Olympique de Marseille and soon signed a professional contract with the club. Camus made several reserve starts before he was promoted to the first team. The midfielder played against Lyon, Metz and Toulouse. In 2006 Fabien joined the Belgian side Charleroi. He grabbed his first goal for the club in the match against FC Bruges on September 30, 2005. During his four spells at Charleroi Camus appeared 100 times and scored 10 goals.
The player had a thrilling 2006/2007 season. Many European clubs including Bayer Leverkusen, PSG, Monaco, Spartak Moscow and Panathinaikos set their sights on Camus. But he decided to continue his career in K.R.C. Genk. Fabien penned a four-year deal. He played a total of 46 matches in a Genk shirt. In 2012 Troyes completed the loan of the player.
In February 2009 Fabien Camus made his first appearance for Tunisia.
