Fabrice Abriel plays as a midfielder for OGC Nice. He was born on July 6, 1979 in Suresnes, France.
He launched his junior career in 1997 when he joined Paris Saint-Germain. Fabrice played for the junior team and trained at club’s football academy. In 1999 he signed for Paris Saint-Germain, thus becoming a professional footballer. He took part in 2 matches before he was loaned to Servette. He came on the field twice during his stay at Servertte.
In the summer of 2001 Fabrice moved to Amiens on loan. He regularly came on field and made 37 appearances creating 4 goals. In 2002 Amiens bought out the player and signed him to a contract. Fabrice continued to play for the club making 78 appearances and scoring 11 goals. In 2004 Fabrice Abriel signed for Guingamp. During the 2004-2006 spell he amassed 8 goals in 69 matches for Guingamp. In 2006 Fabrice joined Lorient. Playing as a deep-lying playmaker, he established himself as a first-team regular. He played 111 games and scored 10 goals during his three-year stay at Lorient.
In 2009 Marseille signed the player to a contract. Despite tough competition, Fabrice got a regular place in the first team. He played 54 matches and scored 1 goal.
In the summer of 2011 Fabrice Abriel was transferred to OGC Nice. During the 2011/2012 season he came on field 27 times with no goals scored.
