A Swiss footballer Fabrice Ehret is a left midfielder at Évian Thonon Gaillard FC.
For four years since he was 6 the player performed at Petit-Landau from the region of Alsace. Then according to the contract he moved to Mulhouse. In 1997 when Fabrice was 18 he signed his first professional contract and started to play in Ligue 2. One year later he joined Strasbourg that played in Ligue 1. The midfielder represented the club over a period of six years out of which five in Division 1.
In the 2004/05 season Ehret played for Belgian club Anderlecht even though he appeared only in seven matches. In January 2006 he departed for Swiss club Aarau. The player was considered a standout player due to his strength and speed. Generally he was used as a left midfielder.
In the 2006/07 season the midfielder moved to Germany where he joined FC Köln that had been newly promoted to Bundesliga. On 14 August 2006 he made his debut in the league match against FC Augsburg when he came on the pitch in the second round. During the season Fabrice became the team’s regular and a favourite of the club fans as well. In the ensuing season he also played in the major squad.
In 2008 Ehret along with the club was promoted to Bundesliga. He made his debut in the victorious match against FC Schalke 04. For the match the player was included in the starting lineup and was substituted in the 78th minute. A week later on 4 October 2008 he scored his first goal in Bundesliga against Borussia Mönchengladbach. On 21 February 2009 the midfielder netted his second goal in the 22nd minute in the match against FC Bayern Munich. In total during the whole season the player appeared in 24 matches scoring 3 goals.
On 16 June 2011 it was announced that Fabrice had switched to Évian. Thus after seven years spent abroad the player returned to his motherland.
