Federico Peluso plays as a defender for Juventus. He was born on 20 January 1984 in Rome, Italy.
The player’s senior career began in 2001 when he signed his first professional contract with Pro Vercelli to which he was tied for three years. With his fist club Federico featured in 43 matches and netted 1 goal.
In 2004 Peluso caught the eye of Ternana Calcio which eventually offered the defender to sign a contract on favourable terms. In the summer of the same year an Italian player accepted the offer and officially joined the major squad. During two years spent at the club he performed in 66 matches scoring 1 goal.
In 2006 Federico moved to UC AlbinoLeffe. He signed a contract keeping him at the club until 2009. Throughout that time he periodically appeared on the pitch in the starting lineup even though he was not a central defender. The head coach frequently used Peluso. Thus the player participated in 57 matches and netted 4 goals for AlbinoLeffe.
In 2009 an Italian defender signed a contract with Atalanta BC which he currently represents. Since 2009 Federico has regularly appeared in the starting lineup, being an effective element of the defensive line. In January 2013 Juventus signed the player on loan to cover the departure of Lucio. Impressed with the defender’s performance the bianconeri signed him on permanent basis at the end of the season.
In 2005 Peluso once performed for the Italy U-21 team.
