A Brazilian footballer Luiz Felipe Ventura dos Santos plays as a goalkeeper for Flamengo. He was born on 22 February 1984 in Rio de Janeiro.
In 2002, Luiz Filipe signed for Vitória and his career started off. He spent three years with the club, gaining the title in Bahia State League (in 2003, 2004 and 2005) and Bahia State Superleague (in 2002).
In 2005, the footballer was scouted by São Caetano, but in a year he penned a contract with Bragantino. But immediately after the deal was finalized Felipe was sent to serve loan to Portuguesa.
In 2007, he joined Corinthians, where he was groomed during the next four years. In 2008, the club won Brazilian Série B and in 2009 became the champion of the Campeonato Paulista.
In 2010, Ventura served loan at Sporting Braga and in 2011 he represented another temporary club – Flamengo. After the spell came to an end, the management of the temporary club offered the footballer a contract on permanent basis. He took the proposal and became the team’s official member. Together with the squad he won the 2011 Taça Guanabara and the 2011 Taça Rio. The footballer was also honored with the title of the 2011 Campeonato Carioca Best Goalkeeper.
He used to be the member of the Brazil national youth team at U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-18 levels.
