Felipe Mattioni Rohde plays for RCD Espanyol in Spain as a defender or a midfielder. He was born in 1988 in Ijuí, Brazil. He graduated from Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense and went on his senior career in the club though Mattioni made his debut appearance for the main squad in three years. That was a 2-0 victory over Clube Náutico Capibaribe.
In mid-January 2009 the Brazilian was loaned to A.C. Milan. The club had a possibility to buy him out at the end of the season, but he made only one appearance for the team and very soon was loaned to the Spanish side RCD Mallorca. There he had a competition with Josemi for the being the first-choice though at the end of the season he didn’t complete a permanent move to the club and tranferred to the other La Liga outfit, RCD Espanyol. Mattioni suffered an injury and missed the entire 2010/11 season and after that he picked up the same injury.
