Felipe Trevizan Martins, or simply Felipe, was born on 15 May 1987 in Americana, Brazil.
He was formed in the youth ranks of Coritiba Football Club where he played for 8 years before being transmitted to the professional team in 2007. In his first 2007/08 season with Coritiba, Felipe was crowned with success to win the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, thus breaking into the Brazilian first tier. The next season, his club finished 9th in the Série A, and later on, integral to success, Coritiba featured for the 2009 Copa Sudamericana. Due to his consistently good individual and club performances, Felipe was snapped up from Coritiba by Standard Liège from Belgium.
A crafty Brazilian footballer got off to a flying start in Belgian Pro League in a match against Lokeren on 19 September 2009. Felipe was put in from the very start of the game and made a crucial goal, fixing a 3-1 win over the opponents. Standard Liège finished 8th then, but soon enjoyed a meteoric rise reaching the UEFA Champions League quarter-final which let Felipe appear in 5 matches of the UEFA Europa League next season.
Before the 2012/13 campaignn, Felipe signed a four-year contract with German Hannover 96 which runs until 30 June 2016. For the time being, he has neither Bundesliga appearances nor the international ones.
