Fernando Belluschi is a midfielder of Bursaspor. He was born on 10 September 1983 in Los Quirquinchos, Argentina.
In 2002 the footballer began playing professionally with Newell’s Old Boys. During three years Belluschi was the key player of the team and took part in virtually all the matches for Newell’s Old Boys. He featured in 90 games and scored 25 goals for this team.
In 2006 Argentine club River Plate expressed a wish to purchase the young talent. Belluschi was glad to have such an opportunity and decided to sign for River Plate. From 2006 to 2007 the midfielder made 48 appearances for his new team and netted 13 goals.
In 2007 Fernando was offered to join Greek side Olympiacos. The terms of the contract were favourable for the Argentine who wanted to play in Europe. That’s why in the summer 2007 he decided to sign a two-year agreement with the Greek team. From 2007 to 2009 Belluschi was a reserve player; however he often got into the starting XI. He took part in 36 games for Olympiacos overall and scored 6 goals.
In 2009 the footballer penned a contract with Porto where he spent several years. Until January 2012 he kicked 6 goals in 63 matches for this club. In January 2012 Fernando was farmed out to Genoa. On 25 August 2012 he moved to Bursaspor for a fee of €2.5 million.
Since 2005 Fernando Belluschi has been called up 5 times to the Argentina national football team.
