A Spanish footballer Fernando Sales de los Cobos plays in Segunda División as a midfielder for AD Alcorcón. Fernando was born on 12 September 1977 in Seville, Andalusia.
After finishing his formation, Sales joined the B team of Betis and his professional career began. Nevertheless, the footballer made no appearances for the reserves at all. In the summer 1997, Fernando was bought out by Isla Cristina and his career got a full-scale start. He stayed at the club during the 1997/1998 season netting nine goals in 36 matches. In 1998, a contract was penned with Levante. Sales spent two fabulous seasons with the team. Altogether he racked up 14 goals in 72 club’s fixtures.
In the summer 2000, Fernando was scouted by Valladolid. The move turned to be a real success. Within some time, the footballer became the first team’s regular player. He made starts in almost all the matches. The spell was lined with 17 balls racked up in 131 matches. In the summer 2004, Sales opted to move to Sevilla from the hometown. There, he didn’t get as much playing time as he used to get. He made only 28 appearances and scored one goal over the course of three seasons. In 2008, the midfielder had a short deal with Celta. He spent half a year with the squad making 13 appearances.
The 2008/2009 season would find Fernando defending the colors of Hércules. In total, he made 23 appearances and netted two balls. In 2009, a season-long deal was finalized with Albacete. Sales established himself as a member of the starting eleven. He appeared 35 times and scored four balls. In 2010, the player’s contract was bought out by Alcorcón. Fernando was let 74 times on the field during the first two seasons. He was also lucky to find the net five times.
