The Argentinian footballer Fernando Damián Tissone is a midfielder of Sampdoria football club. The player also has Italian nationality.
Fernando started his career in the youth academy of Independiente in 1997. In 1999 he moved to Lanús.
In 2005 Tissone decided to leave Argentina for Italy and signed his professional contract with Udinese. His debut season there was quite good (26 fixtures) but the Argentinian had to face a tough competition and failed to become an undisputed starter. In the 2006/07 season he began playing for Atalanta. Fernando made 68 appearances and amassed 6 goals during two seasons for the team. In 2008 Tissone was transferred to Udinese for €4 million.
In the summer 2009 the midfielder moved to Sampdoria.
In 2013 the Argentine performed on loan at struggling Spanish side Mallorca.
