Florent Cuvelier is a footballer from Belgium, born in 1992. He stayed with the youth teams of Excelsior Biévène, La Louvière, Mouscron, Portsmouth and Stoke City. After he graduated from the latest one, he joined the reserves in the 2010/11 season. In January 2012 he signed a loan deal with Walsall, playing in Football League One, the third division and made his debut in the match against Notts County. There he stayed until the end of the season, then returned to Stoke City and in May 2012 he extended his contract for two more years.
In July 2012 Cuvelier was sent on loan to Walsall again and in March 2013 he joined Peterborough United, competing in the Championship, on a loan deal.
Without having played a single match for the Potters, Cuvelier moved to Sheffield United in 2013.
Florent Cuvelier has been a part of the Belgium U16, U17, U18, U19, U20 and U21 national teams.
