Florian Jozefzoon is a striker of RKC Waalwijk. He was born on 9 February 1991 in Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, French Guiana.
Florian began to play football in Amsterdam after his family chose the city as their permanent place of residence. The player’s first club was AFC Amsterdam, where he started to train and perform for the youth team.
In 2006, Jozefzoon moved to the academy of Ajax and learned football in all its minutest details till he penned a senior contract with the club in 2008.
However, Florian’s professional début came only in August 2010, when ‘de Godenzonen’ encountered Vitesse and strolled to the 4-2 victory.
In June 2011, the management of Ajax extended the striker’s contract till the summer 2012 and sent him on loan to NAC Breda, where the footballer made 16 appearances during one season.
In May 2012, Jozefzoon sealed a deal with RKC Waalwijk.
From 2007 till 2009, the striker was on the list of the Netherlands national U-17 team players, but he did not manage to come on the pitch for the squad. In 2010, Florian was capped one time for the U-19 team and one time for the U-21 squad.
