Franck Tabanou plays at the position of midfielder for Saint-Etienne. He was born on 30 January 1989 in Thiais, France.
The player’s career started from Choisy-le-Roi’s youth team in 1998 when he entered the club’s academy. Over a period of four years the midfielder both studied at the academy and represented the youth team squad at youth championships. In 2002 Franck moved to Le Havre football academy. For three years the player followed the standard education program for young footballers. From 2005 till 2006 he stayed at CFF Paris academy but in 2006 switched to another one. That time it was Toulouse where he studied until 2009.
In 2009 Tabanou was given the opportunity to play for Toulouse senior team. After excelling in the youth team he earned a professional contract. From 2009 to 2013 the player appeared in over 130 matches.
In July 2013 Tabanou was lured to Saint-Etienne.
In 2009 Franck was capped 3 times for the France U-20 football team and he even set a goal. From 2009 till 2010 he made 12 appearances for the France national U-21 team.
