Franco Semioli is a midfielder of Vicenza football club. He was born on 20 June 1980 in Italy.
Semioli had been groomed in the youth academy of Torino FC. He signed a professional contract with the club in 1998. In the 1999/2000 season the Italian was loaned to Salernitana and managed to play 24 fixtures for the team. Than he returned to Turin but was unsuccessful in trying to become the Toro’s regular starter. In the 2002/03 season, Semioli played on loan for Ternana and Vicenza. At Vicenza he even managed to become an undisputed starter.
After 2002/03 season Semioli was signed by Chievo Verona where the Italian immediately became a core player. In the summer 2007 the Italian was transferred to Fiorentina for €6.3 million. In September 2007 Semioli scored his first goal in the UEFA Cup.
In 2009 Franco Semioli joined Sampdoria. Since 2012, he plays for Serie B side Vicenza.
