Frank van Mosselveld is a defender of RKC Waalwijk. He was born on 2 January 1984 in Waalwijk, Netherlands.
Frank’s youth career took off in local WSC, from where the footballer moved to the academy of Willem II.
Van Mosselveld’s performance for various youth teams of the club earned him a place in the main squad in August 2003. The defender made his début for Willem II in the 1-0 victory over AZ. Frank took part in 70 fixtures and netted one goal for the club during three seasons.
In the summer 2006, the footballer completed a move to RKC Waalwijk and made his first appearance for the new team on 20 August 2006 in the 5-0 loss to Amsterdam side Ajax.
Shortly after his first game, van Mosselveld got an injury and was sentenced to life without football till spring 2007. However, after the defender was ready to come on the pitch, it turned out he had not managed to fully recover from his trauma, which kept him out of action till the following season.
In the summer 2008, the management of RKC Waalwijk extended Frank’s contract till the summer 2011. The player made 122 appearances and found the net six times for the club as of November 2012.
