An English footballer Fraser Gerard Forster plays for Celtic as a goalkeeper. He was born on 17 March 1988 in Hexham.
Fraser signed his first pro contract in 2006 with Newcastle United and his career started off. Before being promoted to the senior level, the goalkeeper studied at the club’s youth department. He made no appearances during first two years because of the lack of the experience. That’s why the management sent him on loan to Stockport County, where he was supposed to get more performing practice. Forster had made 6 appearances before he was loaned out by Bristol Rovers, where he spent half a year making 4 appearances.
In the summer 2009, a loan to Norwich City followed. Forster spent the 2009/2010 season with the temporary squad, clinching into the first XI and featuring in 38 fixtures. In the summer 2010, the footballer found himself serving loan at Celtic. He managed fabulous season with the team and the club’s management decided to buy his contract out. The goalkeeper continues to make successful appearances as the first goalkeeper.
