Gábor Horváth is a back of Paksi FC. He was born on 4 July 1985 in Székesfehérvár, Hungary.
Gábor’s professional career took off in Hungarian side Videoton, where he made 141 appearances and found the net four times. In the 2009/2010 season, Horváth was voted the Hungarian Footballer of the Year.
In the summer 2010, Videoton agreed the footballer’s move to NAC Breda on a season-long loan. The back was used as a substitute for Kees Kwakman and made his début on 12 September 2010 in the 2-0 win over Feyenoord. Gábor celebrated 11 victories out of 19 fixtures for the temporary team during one season.
After the 2010/2011 season, the footballer returned to his parent Videoton, but did not stay there for long. Horváth took part in nine games for the club and went back to the Netherlands in order to join ADO Den Haag, where he was given the place of a centre back. The footballer’s first appearance for the new team came on 10 September 2011 in the match against RKC Waalwijk, which ended in a 1-0 loss.
Gábor featured in 23 games and fired one goal for ADO Den Haag before switching for Hungarian outfit Paksi.
On 14 November 2009, the footballer received his first call-up to the Hungary national squad for the match against Belgium.
