Gaby Mudingayi is a Congolese-Belgian football player who was born on 1 October 1981. Mudingayi’s home country is Zaire, yet the player at a very young age moved to Belgium, starting his playing career in the third league club Union Saint-Gilloise. After spending two seasons in the team, the midfielder was signed by Gent. At the age of 18, Mudingayi became a regular in the first team and made few caps for the youth and senior Belgium national teams.
In 2004 Mudingayi signed a contract with Italian Serie B team Torino and helped the club to receive promotion to Serie A, but Torino was declared to be bankrupt, and the player moved to Lazio. Despite sustaining several injuries during his first season, in the season 2007/2008 Mudingayi became one of the key players in the squad. In 2008 the player signed a deal with Bologna, where he stayed for three seasons and played in 128 matches.
On 20 July 2012 Mudingayi joined Internazionale on loan and later on on permanent basis.
